The Australian Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame (AMSHOF) was established in June 2020 by members of the Australian Long Distance Swimming Federation (now Marathon Swimming Australia) to honor the achievements of Australia’s most distinguished marathon swimmers and contributors to the sport.

The AMSHOF aims to immortalize the career achievements of Australians who have distinguished themselves as marathon swimmers or contributors in the sport. It serves to celebrate the accomplishments of swimmers, coaches, event organizers, and other contributors who have played a pivotal role in the development and promotion of marathon swimming in Australia.
