Overview:
Swim Around Keppel is a tropical marathon swim featuring a ~20km circumnavigation of Great Keppel Island on the southern Great Barrier Reef. The course passes beaches, reef systems and marine habitats, offering one of Australia’s most visually striking swims.

The event combines a genuine endurance challenge with a relaxed, destination-style atmosphere. It attracts both experienced marathon swimmers and those seeking a unique reef-based swimming experience.

Events on Offer: 20km tropical island circumnavigation for solo, duo, and relay entries. Shorter Events are typically held on the Friday preceding the main Saturday swim: 6km Middle Island Swim and a 1km Novice Swim:
